Not even in death did Leelah Alcorn’s parents respect who she was. Not even when their actions caused her to kill herself. Not even after she was gone did they try and understand her. They killed their daughter, whether they call it an accident or suicide, they are the ones responsible for what has happened. I hope they live with that thought for the rest of their miserable lives.

A reminder that whenever a suicide happens and it gets a lot of coverage by the media, the suicide rates increase. So please, look out for other trans people now and especially trans women. Give them all the support you can so there will be no more tragedies like this.
