so yeah the door of moving is finally starting to open for me, but it would really help if my minimum wage paying job would give me more!! than 8 hours a week!! the bare minimum my contract allows!! no doubt if i was on less i would be getting less.
but anyway i’d like to be at least making use of my time without work on things other than stewing in my own bed playing jrpgs so i’m opening a few slots again, this time with two styles; ‘sticker’ style and portraits.
sticker style is £12 each, 500x500px fullbody and full colour with a pseudo bg going on, and portraits are now £16, 800x600 waist up-ish with the same pseudo bg

Tonight is the night where I’m open up a brand new Etsy storefront! Not only that, but I’m finally opening up online preorders for stickers and prints of my Steven Universe gouache paintings! CHECK IT OUT HERE!!
I’m selling both individual stickers for $2 and postcard-size prints for $5, as well as a complete sticker set for $20 and complete print pack for $50! I’ve decided to run preorders until August 17th (11:59pm EST). After that date, all orders will be shipped out within another two weeks.

With all the violently biphobic posts floating around that specifically target bisexuals in relationships with people of different genders (the posts call these people “het-partnered bisexuals” but I don’t feel quite right about that term), I thought I’d take this opportunity to remind us all that there is no wrong way to be bisexual.
Because many of us already deal with a lot of self-hatred, internalized biphobia, self-doubt, and hateful words from family and friends alike, the bi community on Tumblr has become a sort of safe place where, for once, we can feel accepted and comfortable with ourselves and happy. For the people making these posts to take that away is absolutely despicable.
So, I’m going to take this opportunity to remind you of a few truths.
If you are bisexual, and you are in a relationship that people would classify as “het,” you are still bisexual, and you are still welcome at pride.
If you are bisexual, and you are not dating anyone at the moment, you are still bisexual, and you are still welcome at pride.
If you are bisexual, and you are dating someone of the same gender, you are still bisexual, and you are still welcome at pride.
If you are bisexual, and you experience attraction to two or more genders that are not necessarily the binary genders, you are still bisexual, and you are still welcome at pride.
If you identify as bisexual, then you are bisexual, and you are welcome at pride.

gerb was my high school physics teacher. (gerb is short for mr. gerber.) when we were learning about radiation and whatnot, and we touched on radiation poisoning, gerb decided to tell us a story.
when gerb was in high school, he worked in a supermarket. a cashier. there was this one little old lady, mrs. cassopolis, who was a regular. mrs. cassopolis firmly believed that the lasers used to scan her food items would give her radiation poisoning. they tried to explain that’s not a thing. but old cass wouldn’t hear a word of it.
the employees had to punch in every. last. grocery. item. MANUALLY.
and this woman would buy cartfulls of food every week, like any good grandma trying to feed her five children and eighteen grandchildren every time they come for a Sunday visit. so pretty soon, the employees figured out a strategy to get her on her way and get on with their lives.
one or more employees would distract old cass while the cashier would scan all the items he could as fast as humanly possible while she wasn’t paying attention.
now this supermarket had a rewards program for its most efficient workers. the computer would track how quickly the cashiers scanned items, and how many total they scanned in one day, that kind of thing. so one day, gerb’s boss came to him and said “uh,”
“you scanned three hundred items in six minutes last Tuesday during your shift” and gerb says “i recall” “that’s about four times faster than anything i’ve ever seen” and gerb says “yea ok” “jeremy what happened?”
and gerb says
“i had to save a little old woman from placebo radiation”
what if bigfoot is just someone’s fursona and they were just out hanging around in their fursuit and someone caught them on tape and now they’re too embarassed to come out about it
