gainsboroug:

The Canine Warriors were the traditional protectors of the Satomi House, whose last remaining member was the priestess of the Gale Shrine, Princess Fuse. Their former master was her husband Yatsu, the high priest of the Gale Shrine. Yatsu was incredibly devoted to the puppy Canine Warriors and pampered them with his affection. This caused them to develop spoiled attitudes. The warriors eventually went their separate ways, vowing to return when called for.

It’s weird being a photorealistic artist because the issue you deal with above all other issues is the realness. That’s what your audience will talk about, and that’s usually ALL they’ll talk about. They’ll react the same way to your art as the audience at a magic show reacts to a trick, and they are more than happy to tell you how well your trick worked (”omg I thought it was a photo!”) or how angry they are that it did (”all you did was copy!”).

That’s all fine with me. I don’t draw the way I do to trick anyone, but it’s cool. I like that people feel excited or inspired, but generally it’s none of my business how people feel. It has never stopped me from making the art I wanna make.

That being said, here is what I have learned about providing proof:

  1. It doesn’t work.
  2. It’s not my job.

m-oshun:

I ended up rambling in tags but this is the official thank you. Drawing has always been a hobby for me, but it’s one that has helped me deal with life stuff and make some rad friends I would never have met otherwise. I’ve had my moments, ones where I stopped drawing or thought about dropping it entirely, but well here we are WHAT A TRIP.
