it’s so hard to comprehend the scale of homestuck….. people literally celebrate the anniversary of the day it began like a holiday. it spanned obama’s entire u.s. presidency. it raised a couple million on kickstarter. it crashed several hosting sites. it might as well be it’s own medium. it amassed a major presence on the internet and at cons yet it was never on tv or advertised or anything- just a comic drawn by some dude spreading through word of mouth. people are still reading and talking about it a year after it ended. it’s getting it’s own fucking game. it’s got a soundtrack with hundreds of songs spanning anything from nicolas cage saying “boner” to a goddamn symphony. this was supposed to be short but so was homestuck
Well, after educating yourself and advocating for the rights of the Syrian people in their fight for freedom against a brutal dictatorship as well as naming and holding accountable those who aid the Assad regime such as Iran, Hezbollah and Russia among others, *breathes*, you can help by donating to any of the organisations/groups listed below.
These groups mainly help on the ground in Syria providing aid; be it medical or psychological as well as food and clothes to those in need.
SAMS Foundation: the foundation works with Syrian American health care professionals and operates 106 medical facilities throughout Syria
Doctors Without Borders (also known as MSF): the organisation provides front-line medical treatment as well as providing drugs, medical supplies and equipment
Questscope: the organisation’s work is mostly centered on providing immediate trauma support and psychosocial counseling
Save the Children: the organisation is on the ground in Syria and in refugee communities providing children and their families with warm clothes, shelters, clean water and emergency care
Syrian Civil Defense(also known as The White Helmets): they are about 3,000 neutral, impartial and humanitarian Syrian volunteers who operate as first responders in rebel-held areas across the country. They were recently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Karam Foundation: the organisations is focused on educational opportunities for Syrian children, currently raising funds to rebuild schools in Syria.
NuDay Syria: the organisation’s mission focuses on bringing housing and food to displaced families with single mothers or wounded family members. They are especially concerned with the lack of safe shelter and living for single mothers with daughters.
Hand in Hand for Syria: the organisation provides aid including food, clothing, water, sanitation and crucial medical assistance
According to the United Nations, there are almost 14 million Syrian refugees around the world (so far) in need of humanitarian aid. The groups below are mainly focused on helping Syrian refugees:
Migrant Offshore Aid Station: this charity exists to save children like Alan Kurdi, with a fleet of rescue boats patrolling the Mediterranean to save migrants lost at sea.
Refugees Welcome: dubbed as a kind of “Airbnb for refugees” this German nonprofit matches people with spare rooms with refugees in need of housing. If you don’t have a spare bed in Germany.
The Worldwide Tribe in Calais: a group of social activists documenting stories in the Calais migrant camp, they also raise relief funds.
Small Projects Istanbul: the initiative provides classes and cultural enrichment and scholarships to Syrian children in Turkey.
Mercy Corps: the group provides direct aid to Syrian refugees in the form of food and supplies, and by increasing access to clean water and sanitation, shelters, and safe spaces and activities for children
Shelterbox: the group has been providing emergency shelter and supplies to families affected by the Syrian crisis in Iraq Kurdistan, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, including clothing, stoves and, water filters.
UNICEF: the UN agency focuses on assisting Syrian children by providing healthcare, nutrition, immunization, water and sanitation, and classes.
Oxfam: the nonprofit provides aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon and Jordan such as clean water, sanitation services, and hygiene education to help ward of cholera and other intestinal diseases.
Yes, donating won’t stop barrel bombs from falling on besieged civilian areas (that comes by being vocal about Assad’s crimes) but it can definitely help create a start.

The chances of you “accidentally” adopting a real wolfdog or coydog are infinitesimal, at best.
I know someone who was one of the extremely rare incidents of this actually happening. She lived in an illegal area, he was a feral 4 month old ‘husky/GSD puppy’ with these HUGE ears, she adopted him, and he started getting wolfier and wolfier…. she moved out of the state at the advice of some wolfdog community elders who could tell he wasn’t a doggy-dog even at that age, since it is a VERY illegal state. Difficult things happened in my family and we had huge outgivings which I also had to pay for. I have a job but it is getting a bit difficult to afford my living fees now that there had been unexpected outgivings that caused my savings to hit almost zero. So I would like to do an emergency commission.

Reference sheet includes a flat-color front image and back image of your character, and their color palette.
Reference Sheet Base price - $30 (+15 for extra for another full body addition, like side image or alternate clothing) However, if there are custom designs or if the references provided are incomplete, I will charge extra. Read below for extra charges.
About extra options - this applies to ALL of the commissions. If your reference is incomplete, or if you wanted additions of items, I may charge extra depending on the complexity.
Incomplete reference (only text description or photo references): additional $5~10 depending on complexity.

Do some digging before claiming others put no effort into their work on a fame starved jealousy basis.
These kind of thing reek of the whole entitlement of ‘I do ‘real’ art and deserve to be paid, unlike SOME people’. Like no, this is a fellow artist, working their ass off and they won the lottery of having their talent realized and being paid for it. Maybe the reason you haven’t done the same is the bad attitude you have towards others in your community

I can thoroughly understand the same face criticism, but a fair share of his work that’s not quite as popular actually doesn’t have the same face issue. Artists are constantly progressing through their style everyday, and I think this applies to Ilya.
Like I said the criticism OP has is fairly understandable…. it’s an issue I’ve seen with some of his most popular work. Hell I’ve seen it a lot on Instagram with other artists, and it can be a bit disheartening to see someone draw literally the same thing over and over and get a massive following for doing the same thing.
However going as far as to say that you “hate him” is kind of like I don’t know… ugly? You can critique someone sure, but being crusty about it isn’t genuine.
Unless the artist is racist, homophobic, transphobic, a pedophile, etc., you really don’t have a thorough reason to actually hate the artist themselves.
Can we just… normalize teens loving their parents? Like obviously you’re not obligated to if your parents are shitty, but damn, I love my mom. She’s there for me all the time and sure we have rough patches but honestly she’s the greatest. Like. We need teens to know that they don’t have to hate their parents just cause.
It must be nice to come from a nonabusive family. One that doesn’t traumatized every emotional interaction to the point where you drive away any sign of love as a form of manipulation because that’s all that you were raised with. 🤷♀️
